Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of LLM Primer. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Current Service

LLM Primer is an educational service about machine learning and language models. Public reading does not require an account. Optional accounts can provide a learner identity, private learning records, notes, challenges, project workspaces, and controls for public profile information.

The service is under active development. Content, exercises, routes, and account features may change. Hosted code execution is currently limited to authorized testing accounts and may be unavailable or reset. LLM Primer does not currently offer paid services. Additional terms may apply before paid access becomes available.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for access through your connected Google or GitHub account and for activity performed through your LLM Primer session. Keep account information accurate, use only accounts you are authorized to use, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You can export or delete your account in Account settings. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms or creates a security risk.

4. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• break applicable law or infringe another person's rights;
• introduce malicious code or use the service to harm a system;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure;
• evade rate limits, access controls, or security safeguards;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation; or
• use automated requests in a way that disrupts the service or ignores published crawler instructions.

These rules allow ordinary search indexing, accessibility tools, personal study, and reasonable linking that do not disrupt the service.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

Unless a separate license says otherwise, LLM Primer's text, diagrams, software, design, and branding are protected by copyright and other laws. You may quote short passages with attribution and link to public pages. You may not republish substantial portions, sell copies, remove attribution, or present the material as your own without permission.

You retain rights in profile text, notes, code, reports, and other material you submit. You give LLM Primer permission to store, process, display, and transmit that material only as needed to operate the feature you chose. Material you deliberately make public can be viewed and shared by others.

Copyright requests are handled under the Copyright and DMCA Policy. Third-party notices appear on the Third-Party Notices page.

6. Educational and Technical Limits

LLM Primer provides educational material, not professional, academic, employment, financial, medical, or legal advice. Explanations, code, exercises, and illustrations can contain mistakes or become outdated. Verify important results independently.

7. Availability and Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage, or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, LLM Primer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
